The device provides four fully integrated Gigabit Ethernet media access control (MAC) and physical layer (PHY) ports, as well as four SGMII/SerDes ports that can connect to external PHYs. The I350 supports PCI Express x (PCIe v2.1 (2.5 GT/s and 5 GT/s)). The device supports two-port or four-port 1000BASE-T implementations using the integrated PHY.
